On February 10,2008, during a beautiful sunday afternoon, Kate and Wim Elfrink(CGO, CISCO) co-hosted along with Taj West End an art auction for charity, the fundraiser titled "RANG". All proceeds benefited two Bangalore based charities - "Karunashraya"s, the Hospice Trust which cares for Advanced stage cancer patients and "Ashwini Charitable Trust"(ACT) an NGO focusing on educating and serving underprivileged children from urban slums.

This event was suppported and curated by Kynkyny art gallery and Pernod Ricard India. There were 5 pieces of art on auction, works by G Subramaniam, J.M.S. Mani, Shankar Kendale, Basuki Dasgupta and Sujata Achreckar.
